Pre-Ballet Classes at Suwanee Academy of the Arts

Pre Ballet

Preparing young ballerinas ages 3, 4, and 5 for future training in dance is the hallmark of this course. In this class students are taught the importance of listening to instruction and working in groups. The basic steps of ballet are introduced in a fun and imaginative way that will inspire a deep love of dance in the hearts of budding ballerinas.

Fun Week

Once a month (usually the last week) this class participates in Fun Week, which is always a big hit! The "uniform" is relaxed and students may wear colorful leotards, tutus, or dress-up clothes.

Performances

These young dancers participate in the End-of-the-Year Performance; a production where students become part of a full-length show, presented at a professional theater. From the youngest dancer to the most mature soloist, every cast member works as a part of a team to put on a professional quality show that will excite its audience.

Dress Requirements

The class uniform is: pink tights, pink leotard, pink ballet shoes, hair pulled away from face, buns are requested. The Princess Shoppe, housed at Suwanee Academy of the Arts, has all the attire needed for class. Coming soon, ability to purchase online.
